Rotochopper hosted its demo day in St. Martin, Minnesota, attracting more than 200 people for tours of its manufacturing facility and demonstrations of its equipment.
The demonstrations began with Rotochopper’s 950-hp B-66 horizontal grinder, showing off the convenience of a Track & Dolly system. The B-66 entered the yard on tires, switched to tracks and was ready to grind logs and whole trees within minutes, the company says.
Through the day, Rotochopper completed more than 20 demos with a variety of raw materials and end products, featuring 10 machines: the B-66 Track & Dolly; the B-66; the TS-2 track shredder; the FP-66 horizontal grinder; the MC-266 horizontal grinder; the EC-366 horizontal grinder; the MP-2 horizontal grinder; the CP-118 wood chip processor; the RMT test mill; and a refurbished SB-24 E horizontal grinder.
Customers and prospects spent the evening before and after demo networking and comparing various grinding operations and fiber commodity markets.
